Lately, a lot of people are getting curious about the best and worst yoga poses for weight loss. For those who don’t know what yoga is, yoga is an ancient discipline that comes from India and designed to increase self-awareness and self-understanding through the use of the tools of meditation and controlled breathing practices.

Yoga are consisted of a series of poses – which starts with the first pose is mountain pose, which is just standing in attention with the weight on the alignment, engagement and conscious breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth. The preceding poses are the usual forward bends, followed by plank pose, which is basically a push up that helps to build upper body strength and heat the body.  It is followed by upward dog, which is an intense backbend on the floor. The next pose is then a downward dog, designed to stretch the hamstrings, lengthen the spine and strengthen the arms. Next on the list is jumping or hopping into a standing forward bend and then coming back to the standing pose and to start this series of poses that come from one pose into the next. After about performing for 15 minutes, you will find yourself feeling warm and sweat starting to drip down your body, so you know that you are getting stronger and more toned. The calorie that gets burned depends upon the transitions from one pose to the next.
