Contrary to what most people think that bottled water is the safest water since it has gone so many process. It also has its flaws as it has some contaminants in it. In a test done by the Environmental Working Group, they discovered about 10 contaminants that can be found in bottled water. Bottled water are full of disinfection byproducts (DBPs), caffeine, Tylenol, nitrate (fertilizer), industrial chemicals, arsenic, fluoride and bacteria.
If you think that is already a concern, then you need to know that the bottle is another issue as plastics has chemicals that can harm your health. It is full of BPA and phthalates that imitate the hormones in the body as it can be the cause of miscarriage for pregnant mothers.
Distilled water are not safe either as they are considered as an active absorber, meaning that they can become acid when they absorb the carbon dioxide of the air. Since, it can turn into acid, you know that it is not safe to drink. It can cause cardiac irregularities, high blood pressure, and cognitive/emotional disturbances.
