Who wants to go to the gym? For sure, most will say will say that they like hanging out in the gym, but only a few of them could last long to get the results they wanted. Why. The reasons seem endless as there are too much that will stop you from getting the body you wanted. Basically, most of the reasons can be incorporated into time as most of the reason need some time to do.

The first things that you do to go to the gym are dressed up and prepare your towel and alcohol for hygiene purposes. After that, you need to ride your car or take transportation to get into the gym. When you there, you still need to change your clothes because you won’t want fine clothes be soaked in sweat. You need to dig up your card and present it in the lady standing guard, in the front desk. After you have done all of these things, that is the only time that you can exercise at the gym.

Seems like too much on the preparation, don’t you think? Well, that is the truth if you want to have a good workout in the gym. Now, if you are going to be working out in the comfort of your home then things might be a little simpler for you. Best of all, you can save a lot of things like money, time, and a lot of frustration.

What do you need to workout at home?

What you need is a little space and an exercise mat or something to cover your back while exercising like a piece of clean clothing. You might also need to buy some fitness video to help you get started if you don’t know what to do yet. After that, you can start with your exercise routine and begin from the most basic of exercises like jogging inside, pushups, and sit ups. Do 10 minutes of jogging in your home to warm up yourself. Perform 10 – 15 for starters gradually increase the repetitions as you grow stronger. Perform 10 – 15 sit ups to flatten the stomach.

After a few months, you might want to try your hand on some equipment to add some intensity to your workouts. Start with a light, resistance bands or tubes. Start training with the lightest band gradually changing color to darker ones as you grow stronger.

As time goes by, you will want some dumbbells too. You may want to buy dumbbells that have interchangeable weights so they won’t be rolling around when you store them under your bed. Unlike fixed dumbbells, they are not that bulky because you can just stack the weights on one place.

Buy some home exercise machines if you have the budget and space for it. Before buying those exercise machines, remember that they may need some maintenance so better save money for that.
