Brooke Burke’s fitness apps promises results without going to the gym
|Brooke Burke is known as a Playboy model, hosting Wild On!, Rock Star (2005–2006), winning the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars, and for co-hosting Dancing With the Stars from 2010 to 2013. At 46, she is undeniably one of the fittest celebrities. She is already a mother of 4, but she looks like someone in her twenties. Thanks to her fitness apps, she is able to maintain her slim figure despite her busy lifestyle. She doesn’t need to go to the gym since she has her fitness lifestyle app and it stands out from the pack with shorter, yet highly-efficient, targeted fitness routines that yield incredible results.
The fitness industry is a US$ 43 billion industry, but it is getting a run for its money as the fitness technology are making it simple for busy people to help maintain their body. Last year, wearable technology, for example, earned $6 billion and so far this year, smart fabrics, including interactive textiles, have reached sales close to $2.6 billion. Fitness apps are also seeing a surge in popularity, but how do you know which one is right for you?
Burke’s social media follower has reached 3.4 million and they are curious on how does she maintain her perfect body. It is easy for her to do that since she has her Brooke Burke Body, an app that is loaded with workout programs, ranging from 5-30 minutes, the best part is that it can be done, anywhere, with or without equipment.
In the app, she discusses HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) concept, which she uses in her intense cardio burns for maximum fat-blasting results. She is able to bring her heart rate up and bring it down slowly. “This is a great belly fat burning concept. It’s about training smarter and more efficiently and spending less time to get optimal results.”
Brooke likes to align herself with successful companies that supports women’s fitness. Sketchers and Kimberly Clarks are just a few of those companies. And since she likes helping others to get a perfect bun, she has taught her signature Booty Burn class in Malibu, CA, for five years. With her busy schedule, it wasn’t easy to get to the gym and back to her love ones so the app really works for her. A believer that fitness is a gift and should be affordable, she’s keeping the cost low at just $7.99 per month.
What is her motivation?
Back in 2012, she got diagnosed with cancer and forced her to face her own mortality. “Cancer threw me for a loop. I realized that I’m not completely in control or invincible. It was shocking news, especially for me considering I’ve always made health and wellness a top priority in my life.” The experience was scary, but she didn’t lose hope. “Yearly physicals are a must,” she says. “Preventative health can save lives.”
