If you want to use barbells then you would need a great space to work with. That is why; it is recommended to do your weight lifting at the gym since they also can provide the help that you would need while working with barbells.

If you prefer to use dumbbells then you can do this in your home or in the office since they are lighter compared to barbells. They don’t need much space and you can have a work out without the help of anyone. The drawback is that, you would need more weight if you want to continue with your strength training program.
